What we did

This week a well-loved 2010 Clio RS Cup rolled into the Coastal Motorsport workshop for its routine service. First on the list was a fresh fill of fully-synthetic 5W-40 oil and an OE filter—crucial for protecting those high-lift cams during spirited runs. We swapped out the air and pollen filters to guarantee clean airflow and a fresher cabin, then carried out a full fluid level check: coolant, brake fluid and power steering were all topped up to Renault Sport spec.

While the oil drained, our technicians performed a bumper-to-bumper health inspection. Brake lines, dampers and suspension bushes received a close look under the ramp lights. Everything was in fine fettle, but we torqued each fastener back to factory figures for good measure. Finally, a diagnostic scan confirmed the ECU was fault-free—so this little rocket leaves us with a clean bill of health and a new stamp in its service book.
